Pouch Integrity Tester model TFT

For flexible packages. Used for pharmaceutical, medical and food industries.

Description

Designated as a pass/fail quality assurance tool. Complies with the Examination and Evaluation Procedures for Flexible Retort Pouch Defects stated by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.

For many small and odd shaped packages, the seal strength could not be measured by standard means. Applying a constant force and maintaining it for a predetermined time period will stress the seal over the normal distribution limits. The force at which the package fails will be determined. Upper force limit for each individual package will be determined based on experimental testing.
